Training Courses

The Natural Resource Charter training workshops provide decision makers in resource rich countries with the knowledge and tools required to promote good governance in their natural resource management. This is achieved through enabling participants to become sophisticated analysts of the policy challenges faced in promoting good governance and through providing the skills that are needed to becoming agents of change in their home countries. In addition, the trainings are an integral feature of the Assessment Exercise, as they support the capacity of individuals and institutions in the country to take up specific policy recommendations emerging from the exercise. Whilst executive international courses are currently the primary training that is offered, these are soon to be combined with regional training on an annual basis in partnership with the Revenue Watch Institute Regional Knowledge Hubs, as well as country specific national training programmes.
